Cleaning Stainless Steel

Cleaning company
Many owners of clubs, pubs, shops, health centres, restaurants are unaware of the state of cleanliness of their business not knowing that this issue is losing them business and giving them a bad name.
Familiarity breeds contempt, if only they could see the state of their showroom, office, restaurant, shop front and so on from a visitor's point of view.
The reason for this can only be one of two things bad management or blindness.
Researching and looking for a solution to improve the image of a at least once a month has to be the number one thing on the list of any business wishing to succeed and win customer confidence.
Customers expect this so why then do company owners not wake up and take action and do something about it.
My Experience
I myself stopped going to McDonald's because of the state of their toilets and how small they are and I have been in a lot of McDonald's restaurants.
Remember first impressions are lasting impressions so it's important to get it right from the offset.
Some managers hire contractors who come in and have the facade of a cleaning company, pulling out a few mops and buckets, make a splash and head off, sometimes doing more harm than good.
No questions asked!
It seems the thought never occurs to companies that there must be a better and cheaper way.
Many different products
But the thing is a lot of these contractors don't really know much by cleaning either.
They themselves hire cheap labour giving them some bleach and get them to turn up on the job to show their face.
Maybe the reason why a company would not do something about their image is because of the minefield and the multitude of different cleaning products that are on the market.
If they had to read and learn about them all with the safety implications of using them they would fall into despair.
So what they do instead is throw money at it in the hope that it will go away. Passing the onus of this maze to another company seems to be the thing to do, after all what do we know about cleaning?
Cleaning is of the utmost importance for any company and is often overlooked; I've been to restaurants, takeaways and find myself cringing at the state of the place, dirty aprons, filthy walls, stainless steel appliances with slime all over them.
The smell of chemicals, bleach and so on.
There are solutions out there that can save companies namesake and repetition and not only that a lot of money also and it's only a matter of doing a little research.
Some companies they get stuck in their ways and never even question their cleaning contractors and see if the cleaning products they are using actually work.
If I ran a cleaning company I would get the cheapest stuff on the shelf if I was looking for maximum buck.
No Media coverage
In an age of eco friendly everything, packaging recycling and cost saving global warming programs cleaning products and cleaning companies have not yet be targeted by the media.
I visited a well known conference centre in the heart of London and they wanted to clean up the image of their building.
The building had a lot of Terrazzo walls, marble floors, tiled floors, granite pillars, brass handrails stainless steel appliances ceramics urinals, sinks and was asked to find a solution. I asked them what products they were using, so they took me downstairs to where they stored the cleaning products and there I saw drum upon drum off cleaning chemicals and there they explain to me that they tried loads of cleaning products and they couldn't find anything that would restore the walls, floors, pillars, brass and stainless steel yet all these labels on the drums claimed just that but did not deliver. Set with this challenge, of I went to do my research.
Cleaning Project
Seated at my computer searching Google I came across a company in Australia that claimed they could clean floors, walls, metals with just one product. A powder that came in 1kg, 5kg and 10kg Tubs.
Not only clean, but restore, not only restore, but sanitize and cleans up to three times faster than any other product. The product also had 50 other advantages I found out after I purchased a sample and put it on trial. To my wife's delight I went round and cleaned up the whole house, pots and pans and all.
So excited was I with this products the next day I got in my car and headed off to this conference centre, I had purchased four other products that claimed to do the same thing and had them with me.
When it came to demonstrate these products none of them cleaned the walls yet had great claims on the label. John explained to me the only thing that they could find to clean the walls was a steam cleaner. But said it was to slow.
As a last resort I pulled out the bucket of powder took a cloth dipped in some water and then dipped it in the powder, rubbed it on the wall about five times to the amazement of the managers and their delight appeared a fresh clean terrazzo wall.
Right below was a tarnished beautiful looking curved handrail again just with three wipes on the top of the rail appeared through and golden brass. His first words where Brasso would take a day to do what you've just done. I was quick to point out to him, that was the Powder and not me. At this stage they started to be intrigued what's in it they said what's in it? How can something that smells so nice remove something so dirty?
Cleaning product discovery
At this point I pointed out some of the Powder properties.
It has an anti tarnish coating that will stop the brass changing color so quickly leaving it to shine in all its glory longer.
As the building was a highly traffic area for people the handrail would be cleaned from bacteria also.
John and building manager then started to sell it to me saying it had no foul odours and could be used while people were still in the building as there was no risk off liquid chemical spillage and fumes.
